Camping
Gone are the days when travelers could camp on Costa Rica’s beaches. Lately, however, organized campgrounds have been springing up in the coastal areas for those who want to camp close to the beach. Several of Costa Rica’s National Parks offer campsites to guests who prefer to commune with nature or save money on lodgings. These are available for just a few dollars per night and usually include potable water as well as restroom and shower facilities. Some are more primitive.
