The rivers of Costa Rica offer world-class whitewater rafting opportunities for everyone from novice to expert rafting aficionados. The Pacuare River is probably the most popular of all whitewater rivers in the country, boasting wild Class IV rapids for those who enjoy an exhilarating ride. Tours of other rivers, such as the Reventazon and Pejibaye, are also available. Both are a little less wild than the Pacuare. Rafters may choose a one day trip or might opt for an overnight camping experience.
